The Taekwon-Do Research Journal (TRJ) is an annual peer-reviewed publication of research articles written primarily by ITF Headquarters members, but also by well-qualified researchers at other institutions, from all academic fields. The mission of TRJ is to encourage, recognize, and reward intellectual activity beyond the dojang, while providing a forum for the exchange of research and ideas. TRJ encourages researchers to become interested in research by displaying examples of what is studied and by offering the means of communicating knowledge between these disciplines to achieve a holistic effect.
TRJ is published electronically on the web, with print issues released annually. Articles published in TRJ have been cited in major peer-reviewed journals from a wide range of disciplines. Print copies are distributed to dojang, school, and association in our networks.
The Taekwon-Do Research Journal is an international peer reviewed medium for the publication of articles of interest to researchers in martial arts.
The global research committee at the International Taekwon-Do Federation Headquarters Korea make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all the information (the “Content”) contained in its publications.
The Journal is interdisciplinary in approach, and includes reports of case studies, experiments and surveys, discussions of conceptual and methodological issues
Focusing on the rapidly growing requirements of modern scientists, the TRJ covers a wide range of academic disciplines updated regularly with innovative research.
